The media in-charge of Uttarakhand's Badri-Kedar temple committee, Harish Gaur recently registered a case against a Uttarakhand-based journalist on charges of misleading, false and baseless posts on social media. Showing solidarity with this journalist, the state Congress, on occasion of world press freedom day, opposes these charges and alleges BJP for suppressing voices of media, opposition and common people to cover up its failures.
Priyanka herself announced in Amethi today that she would return to Amethi-Rae Bareli after May 6 and remain there till the end of campaigning. She further said that she would make sure Congress wins both the seats. If she is going to be in Rae Bareli-Amethi for the next two weeks, she might as well have contested.
