RTV Visoko or Televizija Visoko is a local Bosnian public television channel based in the municipality of Visoko. It was created under this name in 1994, when the local Radio Visoko began television broadcasting.
RTV Visoko broadcasts various programs such as local news, local sports, mosaics and documentaries. The program is mainly created in Bosnian.
Radio Visoko is also part of the state municipal services.
At the end of July 1969, coverage of the events in Visoko was organized through the public address system in Djalija, and the official start of broadcasting began on July 26, 1977 with a 100 W transmitter.
In 1980, an antenna tower and a 1 kW transmitter were built. At first the program was broadcast 3 times a week. Until 1998, Radio Visoko was broadcast on FM 92.3 MHz and ST 250.5 m and 1197 kHz, and since 1998 broadcasting on ST has been discontinued.
With the development of new media, Radio Visoko has never lost its specificity, traditions and recognition, which is why today many people prefer Radio Visoko to all other media, because everything depends on good old habits and long-standing traditions.
